PA Batten Disease

PA Batten Disease Support is another charity that is close to home for the Tomko family. A family friend has been touched by this tragic disease and the Tomkos wanted to not only help create awareness but help other families too.

PA Batten Disease is a fatal degenerative neurological disease that leaves children blind and bedridden with a life expectancy of 8-12 years. Those with Batten disease are unable to produce an enzyme needed to clear toxins from the brain. Without it, permanent brain damage occurs that affects the child’s ability to talk, walk, see and even eat. Its onset usually occurs between the ages of 2 and 4 years. PA Batten Disease Support is a local non-profit organization that helps children and families that are struggling financially. The proceeds from the events that the Tomkos host help these families with medical bills and travel to find a cure, childcare, and much more.

Jubilee Soup Kitchen

Every year at Christmas time the Tomko family puts a” Giving Tree” in our office to raise money to buy food for the Jubilee Soup Kitchen and have incorporated a company-wide Donate to Dress Down Day on Mondays. Our team pays to dress down and the proceeds are accumulated throughout the year to give back to the Jubilee Soup Kitchen.
